ABOUT ME
My goal as a wildlife photographer and ecologist is to produce content that encourages empathy, understanding and wonder for the natural world and promote the work of dedicated and passionate NGO's, ecologists and biologists.
I grew up in South East Queensland where I was largely surrounded by wildlife. It was not uncommon for koalas, possums, snakes and lizards to call my backyard home. As such I had a number of positive and intimate interactions with wildlife as a young child. Those positive interactions encouraged me to gain a degree in ecology from Southern Cross University and work for several ecological consultants in Australia.
My professional work has allowed me to travel Australia and the globe in search of wildlife. I specialise in reptile, frog and bat photography, and DSLR camera-trapping.

I am honoured to have had my work published internationally, featured in a number of magazines, books, journals, newspapers, zoos and websites. And more recently I have been lucky enough to be short-listed and or win various photography competitions.
Using DSLR camera traps in addition to traditional photography, I have worked with a number of environmental NGO's such as Arid Recovery, South Endeavour and Re-Wilding Australia. Together we work to document incredibly rare and cryptic species, whilst highlighting their important contributions to science and conservation.
